About Me 

Teyra Anderson is a marketer and storyteller working to highlight the multicultural experience in media, entertainment, and technology through purpose-driven marketing initiatives.  

Teyra began her career at Disney, working on community engagement and corporate citizenship. She also spent the beginning of her career working for the PR firm, PKPR, where she worked with organizations building towards social change across industries. 

Teyra is now a Strategic Marketing Partnerships Coordinator at Squarespace. In this role, she aids in the execution of meaningful partnerships across the U.S. and International markets. Being a part of an organization that champions creatives and entrepreneurs, Teyra looks to lean into this ethos by participating in projects that make culture a priority. She’s worked on campaigns highlighting the stories of woman-identifying Black Squarespace customers, she’s also executed on events celebrating Black-Owned businesses with Squarespace’s employee resource group, Black at Squarespace (BASS).

As an active member of BASS, Teyra has partnered with ERG leadership to produce programming centered around Black women in the workplace, and events during Black History Month exploring Black entrepreneurship.

Teyra graduated from Syracuse University (#GoOrange) in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, and a minor in African American Studies.
